I've been wanting to figure out how to use brushes in Illustrator for a while. I played around with it a little while ago trying to make a wedding announcement, and couldn't get it. But I decided to try again when I decided to donate Christmas cards for my auction item for Brayden's preschool. (We are all supposed to donate something worth $50 for the school's auction.) So my neighbor (who is a graphic designer) came over and gave me a brushes tutorial. It was soooooo fun!!!! I think I have a little (or a lot) more to learn about them, and I really wish I could take a class in Illustrator. But I know enough about them to get around. I think. Oh, and this isn't our Christmas card for the year, it's just one of the samples for the auction.

how talented you are! You should take a class in illustrator... I bet they have one at the university, no?
Looks fabulous! I'd love to take a class in that too. Great job Natalie.
Wow Natalie. That's amazing. I need a lesson too. I can't wait to make our Christmas cards for the year. Sooooo cute!

Wow, that looks like it was a lot of fun to do! Oh and I like the food pictures in your last post, those looked like fun too!
You are amazing! What a cool skill to have.
Cute! I think you should start a business!
you got skills...
Wow, I am really impressed!
So cute!! That is so neat that you know how to do that stuff!
Really cute. It takes so much time to learn all of that stuff. Good job. Someday I want to do that too. For now I just use memory mixer. There's a much smaller learning curve but then not as many options for self exploration and creativity. I really like the card though.
WOW!! I remember how good you were with art clear back in 2nd grade! I was alway jealous of your artistic abilities. Great job with the card for the auction!
